Raja Jarrah, CARE International Climate Change Advisor on REDD, explains REDD, and how CARE is working to influence the negotiations in this area so that it specifically benefits poor and marginalized people. REDD will be the focus of a workshop at COP this evening from 18:15-19:45.

CARE staff and partners take some time away from the negotiations to visit the photographic exhibition ’100 Places to Remember Before They Disappear’. CARE is a partner in ’100 Places to Remember Before They Disappear’ and will be present at the expedition in Copenhagen to explain how to prevent the humanitarian disasters that will follow.
